  • for cleaning the receiving bore of ABS sensors
  • When removing the sensor residues of corrosion, dirt and sensor will remain in the receiving bore. Sometimes sensors must be drilled out when they are seized up or torn off. For some models from Audi/VW the sensor must be drilled out due to construction-related reasons.
Before installing the new sensor, the receiving bore must be cleaned perfectly to ensure precise fitting of the new sensor. Otherwise new sensors will be damaged when trying to press them into the bore. Furthermore, it could lead to technical disturbance and wrong data measurement of the ABS-system.
The exact positioning of the new sensor is therefore crucial to guarantee correct measurements of the ABS-system.
This set comes with a fine-toothed stubby ratchet with a flexible head, to allow for maximum flexibility when operating in narrow spaces. The ratchet only turns in right direction, because left-turning will damage the reamer.
